Jacob Hart is a 16 year old multi downbeat award winning pianist, composer, and arranger hailing from Detroit, Michigan. He has performed at the Michigan Jazz Festival, the Detroit Jazz Festival, and the Toledo-Peacock jazz festival, with artists like Herlin Riley, Ryan Devlin, and others. Jacob has opened for several famous jazz artists such as Herbie Hancock, Branford Marsalis, and Terence Blanchard. He has also performed at several known jazz clubs in the area, including Baker’s Keyboard Lounge, Dirty Dog Jazz Cafe, the Blue Llama, and Cliff Bell’s. Hart is a student at the esteemed Detroit School of Arts, and also takes part in several Detroit jazz programs, such as the DSO Civic Jazz Orchestra and the MSU Spartan Youth Jazz Program. On top of all of this, Jacob is releasing his second album, “Short Circuit” in the near future, so stay on the look out!
